Core Service Competencies

Assets are monitored through an preventative and reactive framework. An asset register is established which is in turn maintained using specialised asset management software. This becomes a foundation for building a comprehensive maintenance management capability through:

  • Identification of critical assets / equipment
  • Development of maintenance plans per asset / equipment type
  • Establishment of resource capacity to manage and execute works associated with assets
  • Development of spares and materials strategy per asset / equipment type
  • Development of work order initiation types and priorities
  • Creation of master data and trending cycles
  • Continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis

Qualified competent staff offer a complete on-site maintenance support service for both preventative and reactive maintenance to all asset types including buildings, plant, equipment, light & heavy vehicles, fire systems, electrical CCTV and other specialised information technology systems.

Canstruct’s transport solutions utilise a fleet of vehicles to provide a range of transport related services, backed up by our 24 hour response unit, these are separated into four key areas:

  • Bulk liquids (fuel, waters and Liquid wastes)
  • Passenger transport (road, rail, sea and air)
  • Fleet Management and In-Vehicle Management System (IVMS)
  • Long distance freight (road, rail, sea and air)

Canstruct supports its service delivery through world-class freight scheduling and logistics management throughout Oceania. Currently we manage the shipping of more than 55 tonnes of air freight and 200 tonnes of sea freight per month.

Our inventory management is a key to our success. We work in remote regions and often in places where resources and services are not available. Having the experience to manage stores onsite is the key to our effective, efficient and enabled operations.

Our travel and transit accommodation management systems are seamless, with full travel integration to the Global Distribution System (GDS). A person can be moved from their home to site and back again, with one centralised point of contact. Our travel team schedules, books, manages and moves over 800 trips nationally and internationally per month.

Our vertically integrated facilities management solution is our workforce accommodation packages. With more than 2500 beds under management, there is no room for error in the delivery of this service.

Our systems and procedures provide robust traceability and accountability to ensure our guests are continually provided with the best in field service they have come to expect.

Canstruct prides itself on developing, implementing and maintaining systems to ensure the health of our clients is aligned with our commitment to our food safety policy. Canstruct has a responsibility to ensure all food offered to clients and customers is of a safe and acceptable standard, as set out in Food Safety Australia and New Zealand Standards (ASNZS). Management, supported by staff at all levels of the business, are committed to meeting all customer, national and state legislative food safety requirements.

Our team is fully trained to the Australian Standards, they attest all relevant qualifications and our systems are accredited to the best practice guidelines under HACCAP Australia.

Having control of our supply chain is key to ensure that we continuously serve the freshest, healthiest food available. We currently plan, source, prepare and serve more than 60,000 meals per month, catering to special events, medical, cultural and specific dietary requirements.

Client focused, efficient and cost effective underpin our commitments to getting the cleaning job done. Extensive experience in both commercial and industrial cleaning contracts ensures our tailored solutions meet and exceed our clients expectations.
