Canstruct International has again joined forces with the Murphy Family Foundation to raise funds and awareness for Legacy, an organisation dedicated to providing services to families of veterans suffering after the injury or death of a loved one, during or after their defence force service. The support Legacy offers includes the protection of individuals and family’s basic needs, assistance through bereavement, advocating for family’s entitlements, and helping them thrive. Legacy currently cares for more than 60,000 beneficiaries and has more than 4,000 active volunteers around Australia, who act as mentors to the widows and their families.

Canstruct’s CEO Rory Murphy, alongside staff from Canstruct and the Murphy Family Foundation, recently attended the Legacy Defence Charity Ball to support the families of veterans. The annual event hosts corporate guests and the Australian Defence Organisation to educate, inform and inspire, whilst raising much-needed funds. This year, the event raised over $150,000 that Legacy will dedicate to enhancing the lives and opportunities of the families it supports. Canstruct and the Murphy Family Foundation were honoured to join Legacy for the night and contribute to the fundraising. The Murphy Family Foundation is proud to continue to support causes that are close to the Murphy family’s hearts.
